No. . . I'm not a huge fan of that paint scheme. . . .I hope to someday offer a short-kit of the C-102 and that way you can build one of your own and paint it in any scheme you desire.

Re: RC C-102 Avro JetLiner Build!

Hi Chris

I was able to attend an open house in Calgary today at the Avro Museum's new hangar space. I thought I would post a couple of pics of what they had on the floor. Maybe a bit of inspiration

The 'little' Arrow in the back of the one pic is the 1/8 scale model that was used in the movie 'The Arrow'. The Jetliner is 1/5 scale and spans 20 feet. The guy standing by the tail is standing at the end of the stab, no joke it's that big! The large Arrow is also 1/5 scale. All models were designed to fly with both Arrows making it airborne. The Jetliner never made it into the air as suitable power plants were not installed. Check out www.avromuseum.com for their current project and more info.

Can't wait to see your build as it progresses.

Bob

Re: RC C-102 Avro JetLiner Build!

The Jet-liner could quite well be over the all up weight allowed in Canada
for R/C flying unless an exemption could be received. Kerosene turbines are now available that would allow
Full operation , just someone with deeper pockets than mine ...... Lol.

Re: RC C-102 Avro JetLiner Build!

I'm now in the process of making the Jetliner's hotwire stencils for the nose section.

After the sides are completed I'll do the top and round circumference of the fuselage.

Two Classic Canadian Babes!

I always try and name My RC Airliners and war-birds after a Woman, seems to bring me good luck, So I'm Naming these two Canadian Girls after two Canadian Bad-Mama-Jama's!

The Canadian Pacific Jetliner will be Named After Neve Campbell of Guelph, Canada

And The Wardair Jetliner will be Named in Honor Of Avenger-Girl Linda Thorson Of Toronto.
