I second the iCharger 308 Duo.

Lots of options out there for budget power supplies that are still good quality. For example, this is what I have:

Re: lipo battery charger question

I learned the hard way (many batteries lost due to underpowered chargers) that the I-Charger and Revolectrix lines of chargers are the way to go with large packs. I just picked up the 308 Duo but opted for a pre-built power supply carrying case that was ready to go and well worth the money. If you go to larger events, like IRCHA, Joe Nall, and the Mid-America Fun Fly, you will find many vendors that have sets ready to go. There are usually killer deals out there and mine was no exception. As has been said, be careful to match your power supply to the outlet it will be plugged into. Take care.

Re: lipo battery charger question

I just bought an icharger 308 and love it. Had been waffling on it for quite awhile. Wish I had bought it sooner. It really does do a better job of balancing your packs.

Re: lipo battery charger question

For storing lipo's I use lipo safety bags but I've been looking for metal ammo cases. I was only able to find plastic ones but I hear Canadian tire has metal so I'll be looking int that soon. I hear some people use cinder blocks.

Re: lipo battery charger question

The iCharger looks pretty good. I myself use the Hyperion EOS Duo chargers series. With a good power supply these are pretty decent as well.
