scenic r/c crash off western australia

This 8 minute clip was posted on rcgroups today....... an r/cer flying his e-foamie glider, equipped with a GoPro, on the shoreline in Australia, had his "I don't have it moment"/got disoriented and, in the process, got some great airborne and underwater video....... some of us have great airfields than others (smiley)

That was unfortunate but interesting.
Th only other downer with water landings is the ESC is usually toast.

Even non-FPV guys can benefit from a stabilizer/GPS Autpilot with "return home".

I got one of these to try out. I haven't installed it in anything yet but I will this summer. Not bad for 70 bucks.

That was a neat video. Too bad for the aircraft. But I was amazed about the footage he got of the underwater wildlife, fish, shark, turtles.
