Landing gear sequencer help needed.

I have just upgraded to a Futaba 10J radio up from a Tactic 404 (big step).
I also purchased the Banana Hobby LX 1200 mm F4U Corsair with folding wings and have worked on getting the Corsair set up. Using a 2200 mAh 4S 14.8V 35C Admiral Li-Po and the new Futaba 10J Transmitter with a Futaba R3008SB receiver.
The landing gear doors open and the gear does go down and the doors close but after approximately 3 or 4 seconds the doors on the wings open back up and stay open. I tried moving the end point at several different setting on the landing gear channel but with no luck.
Rich Baker from uses a similar Futaba receiver in his setup video for the Banana Hobby LX 1200 mm F4U Corsair. He is not using an S.BUS. ( )
I called the Great Planes, Futaba specialist and he said I don't need to use an S.BUS.
Banana Hobby says I do need an S.BUS to go to 10 channels.
After a lot of emails to Banana Hobby I purchased an S.BUS Hub and tried putting the folding wings on channel 10, the lights on channel 8, the 5V Output/BEC on channel 7 and the flaps on channel 6. I tried different end point settings (down to 70/70) on the landing gear (channel 5).
It seemed to work but if I moved the controls (ailerons, rudder, elevator) after a few movements the doors reopened again.
I need some expert advice on setting up the Futaba 10J and Banana Hobby LX 1200 mm F4U Corsair landing gear sequencer to stop the gear doors from reopening.
