Can some please help me ?

I have what is called a pulsed glow driver that is enclosed in orange plastic case. I do not have a name or model number.

What I need to know is, what is the minimum input voltage required as this dose not use the receiver power.

Thanking you in advance

Here is a link to the Sonictronics/McDaniels page regarding their internal glow drivers

I suspect 4.8volts as this is a pretty standard/available NiCad pack in the hobby for ages.... but you can always try to creep up on the voltage until you get it to work (1.2, 2.4, 3.6 to 4.8v) so avoid burning out the electronics.

Others may have more hands on experience.

A picture would help if you believe what you have was manufactured and not a diy item.

good luck

Sounds like McDanials to me as well. Basically the best IMHO. 4.8 is what you will need to power it and can be setup to come on at idle and go out over and above 1/4 throttle.

It might be best to figure out which one it is as this one uses a 1.5V battery.
