Dave, you were wondering how the Hydraulic system works.
If it is this unit - http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...Retracts_.html It is an excellent choice instead of air, little bit of tinkering but then what's not with any retract system. I had it on a Ziroli P47, and it works flawlessly. It is so scale going up and down, but the best part is it is so powerful. You no longer relying on the locking mechanism of the retracts any more. It's rock solid until you breed the hydraulic the other way. The system alone is 130 bucks from HK plus shipping, the asking price for the package is really a steal if I may say so. I still have the few cut parts from you, i.e. the Templest, and,,,, otherwise I would have driven over to Mississauga already. Alex |
