I get mine from A&M wood specialty in Cambridge Ontario.
I used to get mine (for years) from Oliver Lumber, the largest hardwood lumber dealer in Canada. They stopped carrying balsa about 8 or 9 years ago. Upon the discontinuation of their supplying balsa, the truck driver who delivers our lumber monthly (who knows I am a modeller) went around the yard and gathered up all the pcs of balsa he could find, and with our next load of wood gave me a HUGE bundle of free balsa! I just used thelast of it about a year ago. That lasted me a long time and many planes!

Buying Balsa Blocks
Thanks guys for the info on buying balsa blocks. I deal with the wood wholesales in Edmonton and haven't found one that handles balsa or was interested in bringing in any. I guess I will have to order it from the east if I want to get some.
