Here's what I use to bench run my antique spark engines. I've had coils, batteries and wires all snarled up on my test stand while I run an engine. No good. I wanted something portable that would keep all my electronics together and clean. So, I chose a tupperware container. I have a kill switch on it for safety and makes for easy battery charging too. When I'm done playing I just roll up the wires and snap the lid on. Toss it in your box for later. It's also a great tool to troubleshoot a pesky no start at the field. Here's some pics.
