C-123 Provider

Try Palmer Plans at http://www.mag-web.com/rc-modeler/palmer/

The latest addition to our 1:12 scale series of historic aircraft is designed to respond to the request of those who love the Herky-Bird, but find 4 engines a bit much. It is a true scale version of the Vietnam era "AIR AMERICA" airplane the Fairchild C-123 Provider. This aircraft has a wingspan of 110", a wing area of 1223 sq. in., 75.75" long, with a target weight of 14 lbs-10 oz. dry. Wing loading is 27.56 oz. per sq. ft. @ target weight. It is powered by 2-O.S. Max .61 ABC engines with side or rear mounted exhaust. R.C. operation is 7 channels including flaps, retracts, & loading ramp operation. Construction is conventional balsa & plywood, with balsa sheeting. Wing tips are removable outboard of the nacelles, & fuselage is in two parts, for ease of transport to the flying field. The plans have 4-36"x78" sheets. Price is $86.00, sold direct only.

Have fun!
