Any of the regulars musta heard me yap about my Typhoon. Hands down my favourite. It was ugly, mean and wasn't a gracefull flier like a Spit. But Canadians flew'em and kicked panzer tail. I like to root for the underdog.

Favourite modern aircraft, Cessna Citation X (ten), world's fastest business jet. I work on them and have flow on 3 different aircraft.
That's the way to travel!! very

Yes sir, Citations have come a long way since the first version. No more flak from ATC about being the slowest aircraft in the FL's with the X!

As for the Typhoon, one of our elderly members flew Typhoons in WWII and was unfortunate enough to be shot down by the USN on D-Day. He does have fond memories of the Tiffie though.

Like others, the B-25 is my favorite scale and WW2 aircraft. My father flew them in the war, and I have an almost finished Royal kit. Lots of carving in the kit, but the quality of wood is rarely seen in other kits. A Ziroli 101" B25 is next winters project.
