I checked out the website from the above post.

Good info. I noticed the author mentions that Dymond Rc has connectors too, and that they are quite a bit cheaper.

I checked out the Dymond website, but I did not see any information at Dymond RC as to what type of connector they are -- whether they are gold or tin plated.

I would like to emphasise that the gold plated connectors are preferred over the tin plated ones, and typically will cost more.

We haqve used the "Custom Electronics" connectors and they work well.
They are availble from

Radical RC ( ) also has connectors (both gold and tin) and wires (although I have not used them so I cannot comment on the quality)

BTW, I use the Dymond Super Turbo ( ) for my NiMH ( and NiCad) battery maintenance.

Good info

Hi guys!!

I found that website last year, and ordered some of the connectors and pins from Dymond Modelsports.

The pins, both male and female, are gold plated and work well.

The crimper tool is available locally from Radio Shack.
