You know, it's amazing what happens with posts.
Case in point; Our club website has a small single thread discussion forum (written by Jim Mc)
Anyway we were talking about 4 strokes and the new offset, inline Saito 2.00 twin when it was announced.
Now we have a member who constantly says, if you're gonna buy a 1.20 you might as well buy a 1.50 and for the difference in price, you might as well buy a 1.80 (all this for a .40 sized plane in most cases )
Anyway, as a joke I posted; "Well if you're gonna get the 2.00, you might as well get the 2.50 eh Casey?" (the guy who likes big engines)
We thought nothing more of it until someone, obviously very frustrated, posted a week later saying" Guys, I've been searching the internet all week, talked to my LHS, called some others and no one has heard of the Saito 2.50 inline twin. Please tell me where you saw this and where I can get more details!" Well, of course we felt bad :P but I explained to the gentleman that it was merely a joke and that the engine didn't exist.
Surfing the boards later, I found several posts on the same subject; including which prop is recommended, hp etc etc. Oh well, at least the guy took it well
