fuse and wing metal covering

This may be a dumb question and maybe not.
I coated my plane with "FLIGHT METAL" aluminum on the wings and fuse. I was asked (BY A FELLOW MODELLER) if it would affect the radio and frequency during flight.
I don't know. Is there anyone out there that can positively answer the question.
MHO is it wouldn't or they wouldn't sell it or sell it with a warning. I asked the manufacturer of the product and he hasn't had any complaints yet and wasn't totally sure.
Anyone try these aluminum covering products before, that might have a definite answer would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx Rob

Radio frequency...

I used similar product on a Cessna 182 (Top Flite) and had no "Radio Frequency" problem at all, of course, let the antenna wire go out of the airframe as soon as possible.

Hope this will help you.

Keep up the good work!

Re Covering materials

Not sure about that type of covering causing a radio signal reception problem. HOWEVER, I did have a problem with my 6' Otter. The plane was covered with clear monokote, then painted. The main colour was aluminum, and being a wiseinhymer(sp), decided to use metalized paint.
The receiver could pick up the signals if the transmitter was right next to the plane, but the further away you had the trans, the less the rec could get.
Before the initial test flight, the antenna was taken out of the fuse , and the signals were picked up fine.

I may be off base here but I do not think aluminum absorbs magnetic waves??? Dosen't it take a ferous metel to do that?? I know you can not attract aluminum with a magnet. If I knew where my old Amateur Radio Handbook was I'd go and look it up
