Transmitter Cases

I am looking for a transmitter case with foam inside and you can take pieces of the foam out to make a transmitter, batteries, battery charger and connectors fit.
Any suggestions of where I can find something like this as I have seen the ones from the hobby stores but the foam is already cut out for a transmitter.

Re: Transmitter Cases

Canadian tire in the tool section or a good electronics place like Sayal.

Re: Transmitter Cases

I've seen some in Walmart.

If your budget minded you could go to a second hand place and get yourself a briefcase, then find a chunk of foam to cut to your specs. Most Tx cases wouldn't be large enough for your Tx, charger, batteries......

Re: Transmitter Cases

I got mine from Canadian Tire ... They had two sizes. Walmart also had them.

I use a combination of the foam and the hard dividers, gluing in the dividers with hot glue. Remember, when you open the case, the bottom will be away from you. Think where you will put the heaviest items. Don't leave the transmitter supported on its antennas when carrying it, unlike a perfectly molded, harder foamed, case.

I also add a little glue to the feet on the bottom of the case. They tend to fall out.

Good luck!

Re: Transmitter Cases

If you or someone get to the US, HarborFreight has a good one about $30 and then a 20% off coupon! I try to bring one or two back when I can.

foam fills it up, dividers come loose to use as you like and tool lid can be removed. AND you canpick out foam squares as below, OF COURSE!

Re: Transmitter Cases

if you buy the Hobbico one similar to below you can pick out individual squares to suit your TX and other accessories you want to put in the case.

Re: Transmitter Cases

I bought mine years ago at Cdn. Tire and it holds two transmitters, plus a little extra. It had foam so you could custom cut for your trans..
