Here is the finished plane. It doesn't show in the pic very well but the emblem on the tail and nose is the "Simple Plastic Airplane Design" insignia,Thanks to "LINK SIGNS" in Dryden, they printed them on vinyl for me and didn't charge me a thing. They also give me scrap vinyl to cut for trimming like the flames.
as for keeping the water out. I tried goop and silicon, one on each float
then covered it with sign vinyl.But it still leaks a bit so I drilled a hole in the back to drain them after several flights there was approximatly two tablespoons in each float. But that was quite a bit of taxiing to check it out and two tanks of fuel flying. So not too bad. then just useing rubber plug
