Speedtrapped my Sokol yesterday...

Well I'm pretty satisfied with the Mega setup in my Sokol.
4.5 minutes on the timer at landing. Not bad at all....
Speed trapped the setup today at 182km/h or 113mph in level flight. We didn't trap it after a nice long power dive, maybe next time.
I peaked the HECell pack that I used in the last flight and it took back 1002mAh.
This works out to an average dynamic current of 13.36A throughout the 4.5 minute flight, including the long glide to landing. I figure 13.5 - 13.75A would be correct. This is with a CAM 5x5 prop.
Static RPM with the CAM 5x5 prop is 17,900 initially (after battery has cooled from peaking). This drops and stabilizes at 17,000 after about 15 seconds. I let the battery cool because this is generally how it works out at the field.
I seem to remember a while back when I compared a CAM 4.7x4.7 to an APC 4.75x4.75 prop the APC drew a little less current and gave back a little higher rpm. I assume this is due to the thinner chord in the outer half of the blade.
The only reason I used a CAM 5x5 prop is because it's all I have. I broke my last 4.7x4.7 prop last weekend and haven't gotten off my duff to buy more. I'll place the order tomorrow for a handfull of the smaller CAM and APC props.
