Too Hot???

C'mon Andrew this aint hot! :P Back in Oz I remember as a kid one summer vaction spent on my uncles farm in the Aussie outback- try 48 degrees C, He showed us kids how hot, hot really is! by frying eggs on the hood of an old car hood laying out in the sun... cooked them great! within 15 mins.

The things that are tought to us Aussies from a young age are Slip, Slop Slap on the sun screen, where a good hat, and drink pleanty of water.....dehydration can creep up on you real fast if you let it... especially for active kids, we always make the kids drink pleanty of water during the hot weather

yes, and to me -40 C isnt cold...

My sister lived recently in Sydney for 3 years (back in Canada for one year now). I remember she used to think it was "cold" when it went down to 20 C!! I guess its all relative...

I would die in 40 degree heat, thats for sure...

Your right! back in Oz I used to think -5 was cold as! my reasoning was once you were freezing -5 or -30 what difference does it make??? But after a few Canadian winters and experiencing -30, -40 temps! wow!!! lungs ache when you brethe and eyes start to freeze over Now thats cold..... plus driving a V8 TransAm, stick shift from Ottawa to Kitchener in a blizzard during my first Canadian winter was a real experience... geography/weather aside our countrys Australia/Canada are remarkably similar.
Even the Canadian beer is really good- Gotta love that Sleemans Honey Brown. :P
