Well i have got all the tail in place and I am moving to the undercarriage. I have used a engine mount and nose gear that I stole from my patriot kit and it will work fine. But what do i use for the main gear that will work just as great and is cheap. My hobby store is a two hour drive so is there anything at the hardware store I can use??? So far my plane has only cost 7 bucks to build :D

I am using 1" Aluminum flat bar X 1/8" thick and comes in 3' lengths sold locally at Home Depot. They have a nice selection of aluminum products including U channel and aluminum angle. As the previous suggestion says, don't use 3/4" or less than 1/8" thick. Good luck on your project!
