I already got one of those and was flamed for letting people know that I did. I agree that it's going down the wrong path but then again it's not my money is it. Oh well I enjoy RCC soo.... much better anyway.

Just my opinion!

Well, Bob, if I knew how to make a Pop Up, I'd be sendin' ya a bunch for that!

P.S. At least those icons don't pop-up uncontrollably faster than you can close them!

I like the way you have things here. I can come on everynight and check very quickly everything on the site. No garbage and a great bunch of guys to talk with. Just wish I was closer to some.
Thanks for everything and keeping me updated on my #1 hobby.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who found the new format at RCU more than just unfamiliar (something new to adjust to). When I posted a complaint about losing a convenient feature, I got replies back explaining that the new format was really better, I just didn't understand it well enough. Maybe so. We'll see. I MUCH prefer RCC. This is by far the most user-friendly of the six modeling forum sites I usually visit each day. Keep up the good work, Dzl

I have been on RCU for a while now, allmost 1 1/2 years. At first it was interesting and I enjoyed it. Some forums have grown VERY stale, take for instance the fun fly and speed forums, they rehash the same ole stuff over and over, even though the membership has grown to a crazy # (over 50,000?)

The jets forum, allthough still some interesting stuff is 90% soap opera and makes a good laugh to read but is basically useless.

The 1/2A forum IS a great place to go, a small tight nit group of fellows that I have gotten to know fairly well. Lots of good useable info allmost daily about the least talked about aspect of the hobby IMO (049 powered rc planes).

I think the owner thinks due to the mass of people he is guaranteed success. I think quality is way better than quantity. Here on RCC I feel I know many of you guys even though you/me have never met or spoke "live". I would do what I can to help any of you and thats a cool thing, feeling like part of a club.

So it will be interesting to see what happens to RCU in another 6 nmonths to a year... but I think it has reached some kind of peak about 6 months ago, even though the membership may grow the meat and potatoes is just not growing with it.
