Hi guys, I also have bought many of the different magazines, but I found the price a little high for the little new info that was included among all the advertising. I try and take my kids to the local public library a couple times a month, and have pleasently discovered that they have several current magazines, from, RCM, Model Airplane news, scale model flyer, mac magazine, and scale modeler, each magazine has the brand new issue, and approxamitely 2 years of past subscriptions, and the best part of all is it doesnt cost you a penny, I find something that interests me, and check it out for 3 weeks, it really is a great place to get some good ideas, just my 2 cents, but it really is great, hope it helps somebody, take care guys.....Joey.....

Want Kippers too

I too am sick of MAN with it ARF lifestyle so I've turned British and I try and pick up the British mags in the used/old mag and get old copies at a reduced price as the brit mags are exspensive.

#1 magazine for me is not RC related but about the real thing is

AEROPLANE! Great articles 3views and big features on historical events

Used to subscribe to one of the US rags, but found things too repetitive and too many adverts, MAC is now the only regularly scheduled mag I get, however, if there is something of special interest will get an occassional single (and usually that is one of the British ones).
MAAC #57828
Living dangerously in the Low Fly Zone (seakings overhead !!!!)

MAN, RCM, Flying Models and of course the MAAC mag. Never bother with a subscription to any of the first three. I like to look at them on the shelf and only buy the issues that suit my interest in RC flying. This usually amounted to about 3 issues of each a year. Lately though I have been finding Flying Models more interesting. I am going to try out the new FLYRC mag for a year. Members on some of the other forums I visit say the first issue was good and I can live with the price $14.95.
If you haven't seen it yet here is the link.
