My very first engine was the TT .46 and it is a great engine, it is now on my extra 300. I also have 2 gms .47's which are also great runners, so either way, you will be happy. The one thing about most gms engines is that they dont like to shut off, even when the carb is completly closed.

GMS 47

First motor was a GMS 47 usually starts 1 st flip. Never needs more than 2.

I think it has as much or more power than my os 46. Can't go wrong with the GMS. I have never flown a TT so have no opinion on them.

Hmm, Wonder what I can build from that shrapnel?

I'd say go with the TT 46-Pro (ball bearing). I have 2, and they are a great engine.

A bunch of guys at the Brampton club have the GMS's they seem to like them, very powerful and good price. One thing odd though, no 2 engines seem to set up the same. One will have the mixture screw at 2 1/2 turns another will be at 3 another being 4, just to get them to run well.

I had a TT46 Pro, I'd buy another in a heartbeat, great little engine!!!!
