I have an older JR servo, NES-4005.

Does anyone have any specs on this servo?

NES4005

Weight: 49 grams (1.72 oz.)
Torque 4 kg/cm (55.5 oz./inch)
Speed 0.17 sec.
old car servo

From: http://www.macgregor.co.uk/radio/compare.htm

I did the metric conversion using: http://www.onlineconversion.com/

(Interestingly, this was the only site that came up when I entered NES-4005 in Google.)

Thanks Jim,

I never even thought of searching for it in google like that.
Spent a bit of time on Horizon's site though trying to find it....

Should be good enough for a throttle servo.

Derrik,

If you need more then 55.5 oz./inch of torque for your throttle...

That should be good enough for Elevator or Rudder on a 60 size a/c.

....yes Jim, it is more than enough for rudder or elevator but it is an older servo found in my junk pile. So I would not trust a servo like that to a mission critical control surface......
So yes, it would do very well as a throttle servo....
