This Winter,s projects

Every year about now someone starts a thread of whats on your building board or planned for construction this winter,so it might as well be me
If I get everything done (Remember Im freedom 57) here are my building projects this winter.

1-Finish re-building a 90" Staudacher for the IMAC north-south challenge.
(ZDZ60cc in a Giantplanes ARC version)

2-Finish a well started 114" ziroli Twin Beech.
(Likely two 35cc RCS gassers in an aeroplane works kit cutter kit with
Robart retracts)

3-Re-cover and repair my Big Lazy Ace Bipe.

4-Keep on with a started from mag plans 1/.3 scale Jungmeister Bipe.

5-Hangar rash repairs to my 1/3 Spacewalker.

Whew..I,d better get off the net and back to my shop!

This winter will be the best. I am finally moving into a house (rented not bought) and will be able to build!!! I have a 1/4 Cessna 140 and my 1/12 lanc on the board. The lanc ought to keep me busy for 3 or 4 years anyway. The 140 will hopefully be at Kitchener next year.
Busy is defined as your wife won't let you come out to play!!

Take the Dog approach

P*ss on it and walk away

first attempt at scale

Hi guys, I have a set of plans for a Hawker Typhoon from Brian Taylor plans , it looks really nice in the pictures, so I am really hoping to take my time and do some nice detailing on it. Its time to use all the information that I have learned here, and through magazines, I will try and post some pics as I go through it, take care....Joey....

Let see where to begin?

1. Plan on building another Cessna Agwagon with more scale detail.

2. Have all the parts cut out for a 60 size Grumman J2F Duck

3. Have all the parts cut out for a 125" WS B-17.

4 And have 2 - 34% Edge 540's to finish.

5. Plus about 4 sheets of Coroplast to play with ....... when I can't breathe from all the "Balsa Dust"!

Well, once the work shop is completely re arranged,it's time to finish the ULTA HOTS I started a few years ago. Also finish up a 1/4 scale Piper Pawnee, with dust bin attachment.Have to some cockpit detailing on that one. There's an AIRCORE something or other in the corner looking to be repaired and one of my twins- otter or wellington- needs to be started.
I'll be glad when I retire in the next 5 years or so cause I'll have more time to build.

Well ---- now that I can spend more time in the shop and less time in a hockey rink

I'm going to build a 1/4 Zlin 50LS - from a set of kit plans - I need to re-engineer the plans quite a bit to make them suitable for scratch building.

I am using Microsoft Visio to draw out the formers and ribs - it is working really great

Will put either a small gasser or Webra 120 (1055XP)
then fix up the landing gear on the Goldberg Chipmunk (HP 61)
then fix the landing gear on the GP Ultrasport 40

might even think about re-covering the Sig SE and re-engining it Webra 50

Well with Mrs. Nuker and my daughter "actively" flying, my building was on hold for most of the summer.

1. Cover, install electronics / the 2 4Star's I just build for them
2. Finally cover the Pete N Poke
3. Build my winter flying "Lazy Bee" (or two )
4. Kanata aircraft models Revolution II
5. Goldberg Sukhoi
6. Put electronics/engine/cameras/bomb drops into new Foto GB Cub (and paint the cowl)
7. Scratch build (first real attempt) of a small bipe
8. Sterling Stearman (might be a scale project???)
9. Ongoing combat projects as required (looking at a twin design )
10. Might update Hog to include the cowl I bought for it originally

Oh well, at least I cleaned up the workshop, that's a start (Now that I wrote it all down, WOW, I gotta start building )
