Andrew, gheeeesh I though you did have one of everything LOL. Yes I am sure there are a lot of choices and I have read quite a number of reviews on various engines and they all look great.

But like you, I am a hands on person and I love building whatever I can. To put my own turbine together would be thrilling to me and bring a greater satisfaction in ownership and running. Thats just for me. Others may not see it that way and thats ok too! But for me, I like the idea of the WREN kit. I don't have the tooling and probably the skill to machine my own parts but this will be the next best thing.

Got the write-up Dennis and it is excellent. The turbines seem to be at the stage where they are reasonably simple to operate. Combine them with a reasonably priced airframe like Andrews and everyone will be flying them.
