Congratts on the first turbine flight! I'm looking forward to my first flight come early spring. It is definitely a rush even thinking about it!

Is there going to be a Bay of Quinte rally in '04? My undrstanding was that the Quinte club was no longer going to run the event???

I think what you may see happen for a jet event down here, is an event held at the Picton airport put on by the Prince Edward Radio Control Flying Club. I think the talk is a combination Warbird and Jet meet like Bay of Quinte used to have some years ago.
We have a club meeting on Wednesday night so I'll see what's progressing with the idea.
It's a shame that Quinte is no longer an event so we'll just have to see what else we can come up with. Picton is an ideal place for the event because not only do we have a good flying site, there are lots of motels and hotels around too. Plus when the airport is booked for a weekend it is solely available for the event taking place and nothing else.
We'll keep you all posted as info arises.
Howzitgoin' eh?

Ontario jet events

I got the OK from the Leamington Airport owners to hold the event again next year. I hope to see more of the jet boys there. Not too often you have a 5000 foot paved runway and a heck of a club backing it up.

I will post the dates as soon as our Windsor club decides.
