Models in Full Scale

This just popped into my mind one day. There are a countless number of scale models. Taking a full size plane and shrinking it down to a model size. What if we could do the opposite? What kind of model design do you think would make a good full scale design?

Kavalier with certain modifications ..... One of the most stable and aerobatic planes at the same time that I have ever flown!

Full Size

The full size Ultimate 10-300 biplane was conceived and designed with a lot of input from RC modelers. A model was constructed and test flown, and changes were made to perfect the flight characteristics before the full size protoype was built and flown.

Cheers!

I read somewhere recently that the Giles was also influenced heavily by the designs of rc pattern planes.

I think a morris knife whould be pretty cool. For really skinny pilots only.

You might have a little vibration problem with the 10+ litre single cylinder engine. Might need to go for a twin. Even then would be interesting

Boeing and NASA do it all the time. Not only do they test out new radical designs on computer simulations and wind tunnels but they also build RC test beds.
