Brison engine mount

Maybe I should drop this but my interest has increased.

The engine has what appears to be a rear cover sticking out the back held on by four screws accessible from the engine front. Is the rear face of this cover held against the firewall? If so is it screwed from the back of the firewall? I do not see any other mounting face on this engine.

I am thinking that there is a flat plat mount that is screwed to the rear of the cover and this plate is screwed to the firewall. No holes in the firewall.

Rear intake engines

Hi Ed,
Don't worry about the questions. I'm sure there are lots of folks out there that have similar questions but don't ask.
Yes, the piece that surrounds the carburator is actually the engine mount. The screws go through the firewall and thread into the back of the engine mount. There are two kinds of engine mounts for rear inducted engines. Either a radial mount as shown with the Revo 52 or stand-offs that come with engines like the DA-50. The Revo 52 engine mount also has a feature that makes adjusting the carb easier. However, the back of the Revo 52 engine mount is completely open.
With respect to a hole in the firewall, not sure if the Revo 52 requires it but I come from the school that says engines need adequate air flow for them to breath properly.
