DA muffler failure

Good picture . Could be wrong but looks like separation at the weld from possibly vibration . The weld appears to be very uniform all around the circumference . To be re-welded that muffler and the piece would have to be cleaned up from oil really well.

Willing to bet if you sent it in to them, they would resolve the matter to your satisfaction.
Just attach a note asking if anything can be done and see what they come up with.
When your product fails, its one thing to hear about it, its another to see it up close and personal.
