hi guys
i have electric trainer plane that runs with 4s 2800mah battery,
i would like to add some led light on it but i need to drop the voltage to 12 volt,
is there anybody have any idea that how i can do this for me not to spend so much money at hobby stores

There's a few ways to do this.

1. You can run a separate 3S small pack for the lights.
2. Depending on your comfort level , you can use the balance lead but you'll need to modify it so it only uses the equivalent of a 3S instead of your 4S.

hobby king has a setup for sale about 9 bucks think it plugs into the receiver for power

simple solution: run your LED string off the balance connector. use three cells

be sure to balance charge
