4 Stroke mount

Good Day Gents,

I would go with the Dubro soft mount.. worked very will for me in this airframe.. The 150 has a pretty solid power stroke that would hammer the airframe pretty hard.. over time. Plus it is a very quiet set up. 16 x 8 APC

Take Care for now,

I'm building my second one and this is what I'm doing to change it:
- I put a wing tube in
- OS 1.60 with a perry pump mounted on a Dubro soft mount.
- fuel tank over the CG
- Elevator servos at the rear, Rudder servo at the center with a Kevlar pull - pull system.
- all control surfaces built according to the plans.
- replaced all spruce 1/4 sq with balsa in the fuse.
- replaced all the heavy balsa (There is allot)
- Honey combed the wing

My first one had a old YS 120 in it and I was quite satisfied with the performance. My favorite maneuver was a snap roll on takeoff and then pull vertical. I competed with it in IMAC.

The MVVS 1.60 gas engine may be worth serious consideration. It is about 5 ounces heavier than the OS 1.60 glow, and the latest version with the large bore carb and graphite coated piston is a real powerhouse too.
Dave, what rpm numbers are you getting on your MVVS 1.6 and what plane do you have yours in?
