if you stillhad the engine after the holidays I was going to buy it...

But I dont NEED it... just think its a cool example of an engine.

FWIW, I reread the RCM Clarance Lee did on the engine in 1990. He stated that with the stock engine VS the surpass II on the same prop and fuel, the SP turned a cool 1000 rpm more. And that was with the SP's tiny carb (allmost 1/2 the throat diameter of the standard surpass 120). With the same carb, they saw an increase up to 60%!! But OS didnt know how long the rest of the engine would hold up...

Well, someone has a cool engine....

i seriously considered it myself,like you Andrew i need it like i need a hole in the head.but i just love these little engines.sometimes i think that i like these little motors and all the cool electronic stuff more than the flying itstelf owell there will be other interesting deals i'm sure
