Mine is a Road Force by Wells Cargo. The V-nose is an option as the stone guard may be also. It sells for 3300 at KCT. Might as well say 4000 with taxes and a spare tire. Its classed as a 5x8 but is 10 feet + at the V. Its 58" inside and 59 high. Overall height is about 78". They had cheaper models at KCT also V-nose but much smaller tires. Mine has 15". I plan on hauling camping gear also including the bicycles.

That sounds more like it, Andrew. My major concern, beyond airplane transport/storage is I want something big enough to carry a 4 x 8 sheet of plywood or drywall, but I don't want to go the route of a pickup or a van. (Not enough seating, or too high a silhouette in a crosswind, respectivley)

That is the main reason I have hung onto the old "Enterprise" as long as I have, most current vehicles are too darned small inside to be useful, unless you do like my kid brother and buy a Ford King Ranch. That's about 50 or a hundred model airplanes worth I suspect!

However, if I can do something like you, that would be more reasonable. I'll just have start reading the classifieds and such. Maybe I can get lucky.

Thanks again.

Dave, mine will indeed hold 4 by 8 sheets easily. I wish it was accessible from the front (it has only a flip down rear door) but I will install a front access door myself this summer.

I passed on a few other used ones that were even nicer than mine, but more $$. I saw this one and coulnd't pass it up 3 years ago. Glad I did. Likeyou say, it comes in handy for a lot of other things too...
