I am looking for a fuselage for a kadet lt-40 i took my kadet in from about 100 feet and destroyed the body of the plane i repaired the wings and save the tail feathers but was un able to repair the damage to the fuselage. so i would be looking for a kadet that could be used for parts or a fuselage or even a complete kit. the fuselage kit can be bought for about $85 can so i would be looking to find a replacement for lesser then this.

Hi Scott,

considering it's a basic box fuse, have you given thought to just purchasing a sheet if thin ply at your LHS, using the broken parts as a template and just cutting a new one? Then you can splice on the tail to the new fuse. Yes it's a bit of work but I "restored" a few Avistar's this way. The wing is the harder piece to do.

Just a thought

Another idea for you is build the spad lc 40 fuselage for it. My friend Allan here was building a wing for his because it got damaged. The fuse is easy to build and you have the gear already.
The plans can be found at http://www.spadtothebone.com
Its just an idea and it is cheap to boot.

Thanks for the replies i am in Regina Saskatchewan. i desided to rebuild with lite ply almost done but cost me close to 145 dollar for rebuild and covering and new parts should have bought the lt-40 arf and useed the old one for parts. ow well but i would still be interrested in lt-40's for future "incidents"

thanks scott
