Asking price is (NOW) $1100 now $850

Labour Day Weekend sale.... get it before I change my mind!

Putting my pussycat up for sale.... er, I mean E-Flite Beast 60e. Hesitate to do this, but I've got my eye on something else to take it's place. This is a sweet model to fly and is setup with killer fast and strong MI servos. I don't know that you'll find a more responsive beast 60e out there. I got the servos direct from the manufacturer.

Anyway, without further ado, here's the SPECs:

Part Number Description Link
EFL9000 Beast 60e ARF http://www.greathobbies.com/producti...rod_id=EFL9000
EFLM4060B Power 60 Brushless Outrunner Motor, 470Kv http://www.greathobbies.com/producti...d_id=EFLM4060B

DMS47021MG Blue Arrow Magnetic Induction servos (rudder/elev) (Couldn't find the right linků don't know if they released it yet)
DMS2827MG Blue Arrow Magnetic Induction servos (ailerons) http://www.ltair.com/index.php?route...product_id=287

SPM9548 TM1000 DSM2 Telemetry Module http://www.greathobbies.com/producti...rod_id=SPM9548
Falcon Carbon (Airflow) Spinner
Falcon 17x8" Electric Wood Prop

I also have a couple 4500 mAh 6S 40C lipos that have only seen about 5 to 10 cycles between the two of them. No puff, always stored at storage voltage, etc. (** Price does NOT include batteries. We can deal on those separately. **)

- includes a brand new set of wheelpants and all the decals I didn't bother installing (not a huge fan of decals) including decals for the new wheel pants.

Oh, and wheelpants I bought because on one landing a wheelpant rolled over the wheel and ripped itself out of the screws. Was not a hard landing or anything, just the grass pulled the pant off - naughty grass! . Bought a new set that I've had sitting in the box.

This plane is in MINT condition. Wired for "barn doors" and, like I said, super responsive. Control surfaces move with the minutest stick movements.

Separate HV setup for servos (ie. there are two lipos in the plane, 4500 for the motor and a smaller 2S 1500 for the receiver and servos).

Pics below.

I can also provide my DX8 settings file for this model if you use a DX8.

Thanks,
J

Bump!

Any interest guys? Should I bring it to the swap meet?

I'm okay with offers that are reasonable.

Thanks,

Re: E-Flite Beast 60e (HV Setup!)

Hey Bruce,

HV (High Voltage) means the receiver and servos are running on 7.4 - 8.4 Volts. This produces maximum torque and maximum speed for the servos, but also makes it easy to separate the power and control of control surfaces from the motor power. With a plane this size/value I wanted to ensure that if for some reason my flight (motor) battery had a bad cell / whatever I would still be able to land the plane safely.

In the pictures of the insides you can see a board to the left of the receiver. That is the power distribution board. So the 2S lipo (1500 mAh) has a plug that is soldered on there. From there power lines & grounds are run to each servo and the receiver as in the PDF wiring diagram included in the original post.

Feel free to ask any other questions or let me know if you want to see something else from the plane. Happy to oblige.

Cheers,
J

ABSOLUTELY!

Yes, Hank, you're right. One does not just grab any receiver or servos and pump them up to 7.4 / 8.4V !!

Bruce, et al. The Spectrum AR8000 and all the servos are rated for the voltage being run in this plane. I confirmed this both with Horizon as well as the LTAir (Blue Arrow manufacturer) directly.

Good point Hank, thanks!

Re: E-Flite Beast 60e (HV Setup!)

Hey guys.... I'm curious if there is even interest in this. Ping me here if you have an opinion one way or another. The asking price in my mind is very fair - cheap even - but let me know your thoughts. If enough people think it's over priced I may just take the ad down and keep the plane. I love it, so why not! I do want something else too, but I'll just have to save my pennies longer I guess.

Well?

Labour Day Weekend resurrection sale! Get it before Tuesday when the price goes back up.

Feel free to make an offer too.... Also updated the trades setting - I'm curious about float / sea planes if you have anything interesting let me know.

Thanks,
