That's it, I took the decision to double the frame #1 so it gave some adhesive point, then when the block should be in place with the Bondo and a good sanding job, it should be ok.

The former #1 double

Let's go...

+++++++++++++++English+++++++++++++
Finaly, the PVC planking is complete, all the joints and little carve were fill with Bondo then sand, so I got a beautiful surface for the paint and the Mahogany planking.

Re: 1949 chris-craft racing runabout kit #1249

++++++++++++++English+++++++++++++++

It's time for the motor installation, I replace the Balsa engine support with some handmade from two 1/4" plywood laminated according tothe engine support template. It's gone be better engine support more strong to receive the screw for the metal engine collar.

Re: 1949 chris-craft racing runabout kit #1249

+++++++++++++ English ++++++++++

It's now time to work on the deck of the boat, all the PVC sub-planking supports are already installed, same thing for the engine compartment is completely build ready to receive the PVC sub-planking too.

Some hardwood pieces were instilled to fix the floor with screw instead of glue to give acess under the floor for any maintenance. The support for the battery was installed either for the steering servo.
