Santa happened to drop one of these off for me and I am quite happy fatman did. Igot a chance to try it out at our indoor race in my TC3. Nice not having to worry about bringing extra xtals. The steering wheel has foam around it which tends to wander a bit. If its centered you can feel the rim of the wheel. I ended up puuling the foam out a little past the rim for the best feel. Many people find the JR big but it fits my hand OK.
A couple of time I turned it on and had to tap it near the battery for the power to come on. It has a 8 cell plastic tray for the batts with a typ 9v
connector touching 2 tabs in the radio. I will have to check if its the batteries or the tabs.
Expo was really useful on both steering and throttle. It came with a decent MG steering servo.
I used the lap timer feature which has to be pressed with the thumb and a faint beep is emitted which I could not hear half the time, Forget it with
nitro. Still handy to have.
