Airworld 1/4 scale F104

Well my big winter project has arrived.
I am not really one to post my projects, but this plane is just too cool to keep to myself.
As things progress I will add some photos, I hope it helps some of you guys stay motivated through our long cold winter.
All the details have yet to be confirmed, but I expect the owner will choose a 300 for power, and a killer looking camo scheme including ordinance, something not seen often on a F104 and something I will make from scratch.
The yellow F104 is my Skymaster version, it's 1:5 and is 11' long, the Airworld version is 1:4 and I think it's over 14' , due to their size final assembly on both must be done in my basement kitchen area.
Before you all ask, yes I am still happily married, it's a second kitchen that we only use when entertaining.

Geeez Richard...that thing is impressive man. I couldn't really appreciate the size when you showed me the image on your phone but this is giant scale to the max!! Have fun with the project.

Re: Airworld 1/4 scale F104

Very cool... Thanks for posting. I had not idea this kit existed.

Every time I look at an F104 kit, any F104 kit, it leaves me wondering where the inboard half of the wings are!

Re: Airworld 1/4 scale F104

Yeah Blair it's just about ready, Doug was great at getting me the parts, just waiting on the small billet main gear door piece that pulls the door open and closed with the gear, wish they were not lost or it could be done.
