LOL, yes, I think you are. My flying season is done until spring. At the lazy rate I'm building, it might be done by then.

Re: X-Cell 60

Well, I spent enough time doing nothing with this helicopter over Christmas, so it was time to start on the step I have been procrastinating on.... aligning the clutch/shaft assembly. It took two shims of name brand tin foil and one of some of the cheap dollar store stuff. The dial indicator needle barely twitches now.

Re: X-Cell 60

Just resurrecting my back up Pro2k from the 2001era. Flew it in the Can and Us nats. Sold it shortly after that and got it back last year. It will fly this year. Love the way they flew.

Re: X-Cell 60

Does this mean M\A will have parts for such an old model now? Or as others like my Fusion once a part breaks and you can't find one your done? Pretty cool anyways, I had found an old new in box kit as well but realised that the parts were long gone and I passed it up, still bothers me as it was such a success.

Re: X-Cell 60

They're back up and running in Germany now. Almost all of the parts are available again. The only thing they were not listing at this time is the single piece main frames meaning that if I ever need frames, my choices will either be e-bay, or switch to modular or carbon fiber frames.

Re: X-Cell 60

Been a while since I've been working on this. Slowly getting back to the helicopter that I owned 20+ years ago.

Time to clean up the bench again too.

Re: X-Cell 60

Brings back memories. I think the shape of that canopy is one of the prettiest ever made.
