Winter Time Ahead

With old man winter coming, and my do nothing (work) body, I could not find any thing I wanted to build in the market of planes. There is no room in the hobby house left and I won't build an extension. Things were looking down, I had thought of putting a plane in lightly so I'd have a rebuild to do. But my flying skills are not as good any more and I'd probably need a garden rake to pick up the pieces. When an old boating friend phoned and wanted to buy one of my old racing boats, the deal was made and left an opening for a plane. Now if I can pull this off before the wife finds out, the winter won't be so bad. But if I don't it will be back to Milk Bone and Rover for a while as I purchased a very old kit called Slow Poke.

Re: Winter Time Ahead

That looks like a nice little winter project. I truly miss the time I once had when I was younger and could actually sit down for a couple of hours and build. These days it just isn't possible and I have to stick to ARF's.
