You stand a good chance of ruining your battery pack with the timed charger. $25 is a great deal for a peak detect charger and you'll get better performance as well as no risk of overcharging.

I think that if you take the time to scan the classified here and in RC Groups you'll find lots of good deals. You can also ask for specific items there as well.

Hedgehog, just a short while back I posted a great charger/cycler for sale in the Electronics for Sale forem which is still for sale.

As has been said, there are a considerable amount of posts with items for sale. You can click on back pages and search for items that your looking for. If you can't find what you need, go to one of the 'Wanted to Buy" forems and list what it is that you need there. Some one will usually come back with things you may be interested in. If you just wait until things you need come to you, you may have to wait quite awhile my friend, if you get it at all! The onus is on you to do the searching or just ask if someone my have what you want!
