I looked awhile for a water-trap/filter for my craftsman compressor and paasche airbrush. Most of the stores only carried the large filters which were definitely too big for my needs. I eventually found a small water-trap/filter at Home Depot.
The make is "Campbell Hausfeld" and they call it a Mini General Purpose Filter. Max PSI is 150 (way more than I need for my airbrush), 1/4" NPT ports, a manual drain for water and a 5 micron filter. The unit itself is only 4.25'' in height.

I have been quite happy with it so far.

If you want awesome, you have to scratch build it!

Got a 2 hp at an auction last night for $100. Less than what a retail purchase would be AND this is brand new-never been used. Now for the guns, etc.

Thats a good deal you got Len...Sounds like your gun-hoe with this project. Can't wait to see it at the field.
What kind of paint are you going to use??? I read an article where some are using Latex...yes Latex paint, with good results.

I had decided on latex quite a while ago Ian. Roy V has two articles about it and I was sold.

You should see the amount of material I've gathered for this (and future projects). Got TWO binders full of printouts and pics and so many computer links saved as favourites that I've had to create sub folders to try to organize them.

Way to go, Len!
I thought I had a great deal with my compressor, I guess you win the prize!
How do you find out about these auctions? Are they in the newspaper or is it word of mouth?
I'm looking for a used (cheap) Diakro punch press. I'm not proud. I'll take a donation if anyone's got one they don't want anymore!

you can go to

and it lists (for those auctioneers who list with them) all the upcoming auctions from Windsor to --I've seen as far east as whitby.

Always up to date and tons of places to visit.
