Cheap Batteries

I just bought these batteries (NIMH 1200Mah 4.8v) for $2.99 a pack at
Princess Auto. They are sony cell phone batteries. I am going to
make them into a 7.2v or 8.4v pack. I am new to this sport.
I have on order a GWS stock slow stick with a 300 motor and GWS esc ICS100. Do you think they will work ok?

thanx for the tip.

Which particular Princess Auto did you get them form? I find PA is like COSTCO... everyone stocks something different!

I found them in Whitby, I just made my first pack at 7.2v and it's on charge. I was just curious if they would put out enough amps for my park flyer? I guess I will find out when I get my slow stick finished. I am just waiting for the crystals for the tx and rx.
