Have you guys seen this yet?

Cool little drone thats super safe and a really innovative design. I've not figured out how it keeps stable or upright, as its essentially a perfect symmetrical ball!

This seems like a great tool for kids, schools, and other educational facilities, to get the youth interested in flight, and learning about the advanced tech behind it such at autonomous flight features (of which the Fleye is equipped)

My full view is to long so i've posted on my blog:

Re: The Fleye (Soccer ball drone)

seems like a lot of dead weight hauling that toilet bowl around. even if it is plastic

bit too much focus on DJI in that blog I think, not something of interest to RC or FPV hobbyists. Missing out on the wider diversity of multocopter and fixed wing drone hobby. I think newbies to drones might find very rewarding experience with racing miniquads, many of which are RTF nowadays, and encourage use in traditional flying sites away from people.
