I do have a Taranis.
Wanted to try something with more straight forward programing as the Taranis give me a headache sometimes LOL
I can back you up. Someone here was interested a few days ago so I showed them that price.

Lately if you check some items are quite well priced at GH. Just purchased some servos for others as a bulk buy from them as the price was right. Also a Taranis plus was purchased recently by someone here because they had a small discount and they were as good or better than anyone else at that time.
I will give them good marks for trying lately,

Maybe it's not Great Hobbies. Maybe it's Futaba. I just noticed a voltage sensor for Futaba $74. I just bought some for Frsky/Taranis for about $4.

Re: Another price hike Really?

I think we need a world currency...it's like we all just took a 40% pay decrease in terms of disposable income. I was really interested in the new Twisted Hobbies Veloxity 43" foamie until I realized that it was $200 pre shipping in CAD. Used to be able to buy the 48" 3DHS and EF planes for under $200 taxes in.

I also hate the way LHS prices go up the instant the rate changes in favour of the US dollar on all stock, but when it goes the other way it doesn't change until they exhaust their stock and re-order. In their defence it is a low margin business but the business practices have really pushed me away for big ticket purchases.

Oh well, first world problems I guess...still have shelter and food! I'm just bummed that I'll be getting 40% fewer rc goodies this year then a few years back.

Yes this BS dollar situation is......BS!

I also have a problem with raising the price on stock already bought at the lower rate, that's not right & fortunately not all retailers are doing that, or at least some will give you a heads up before they do.

iT'S TIME TO START TAXING EXPORTS PROPERLY. Bring our dollar back to where it should be, always boned by the guys south of us.
Notice the R/C sales state side cause we don't buy they drop the prices for themselves even more.

It's not the shops its the government. New government and no tax cuts just more spending and less income, go Canada!!!!

So it costs nothing to transport the crude, refine it, and transport the product and pay for the fancy pumps putting it in our vehicles. The math is a little more complicated.

Re: Another price hike Really?

I'm just glad I bought my expensive gasser helicopters and 18MZ in 2012/2013.

Re: Another price hike Really?

The old saw tooth pricing. Goes up fast but comes down slooooooow.

Time to sell ---- in the u.s. So you can benefit from the $. I just sold something there and kept the money in U.S. Funds to make the next purchase.... Only way I can afford it.
