Starter Battery Mod for Free!

You know when you buy a new electric tool and you get a charger station every time and then it just sits there with all the others... I used one to do a mod to my Dynatron Starter and saves lugging the battery separate. Was up the charger..mine is Ryobi, Cut 120VAC Cord as would not recommend using it as a charger and put starter leads to the battery terminals...I soldered mine. then used the starter tie bolts to secure the charger. Done and Free!
Specs...Dynatron Super Hi-Torque Starter with 18VDC Ryobi...Tons of torque and weight feels good too.

Re: Starter Battery Mod for Free!

Trust me when I say that it turns like crazy.... that 18 VDC battery lasts big time and I flip 100 Saitos like they are little 046's. My pal has flipped over his gasser too with it when his gave up...think it was a 50cc? I would not hesitate lending it has loads of power and torque. Gotta remember...these batteries are designed for extreme tools...saws, drills, this one was from a blower. I have seen on the web that others have tried this too ....different formats than mine and there is actually a conversion kit some fellow in the us is marketing now for I think Makita? Anyways best of luck inventing!
