From my driving habits to just about everything I do, I seem to try and take it "to the limit."
So hense 2thelmt, which my wife says all the time.
I'd rather encounter my limits when I'm ready and prepared so that when I have to, or forced to, I can take it to the limit...

Actually I had tried to use "Gary Maker" but it was taken

My buddy and I started playing one hour of online games each Friday in 1989. Been doing it ever since (been a loooong time). The game name I used was Nuker so I just kept it when I went online; easy to type.

Without being too deep about it , I just post my real name in my signature in case anyone is curious

I also could'nt think up a nickname in my hurry to get onto the forum, but I probably should have chosen 'Bruce", for those of you that recognise the tag, from Monty Python. (All the prof's in the Department were called Bruce,, because they spent so much time "thinking" thet they could'nt remember names.)

I use the name Jessy because that's what i was nicknamed in the military back when i first got posted to Calgary Alberta. My real name is Ghislain
Hard for some to pronounce. (very FRENCH) It went from Ghis to jess and the rest is history. I've been going by the name Jesse for almost 20 years now.

Hi ; I'm SpaceCowboy. I always liked that name since hearing the song

from Steve Miller and seeing the movie of the same name.

Since I have been in the aerospace business 25 years (AME) and took up horseback riding 7 years ago (John Wayne/ Clint Eastwood wanna be)

I thought it would be a good handle.

That's my story & I'm stickin' to it. "Go ahead make my day Eh "

Regards ; Mike from Brentwood ( Not Kanmore )

Crazyfast ? Well a couple of years ago when we had our first child I had a camaro and when we'd go for a drive my little one would say "go crazyfast daddy". She loved being pushed back in her carseat by the G's of quick acceleration and crazyfast was a composite word she made up from listening to her mother comment on my driving skills. lol, Oh and so far neither one of us has gotten any better, I fear her turning 16 and getting her licence. I always got a kick out of it, so I use it as my name on the net everywhere.

Nosedive= style of a particularly spectacular 'landing' I did once.

It was a broken elevator clevis.....yeah, that's it.... a bad clevis!

Had some visitors from Saskatchewan at the field at the time. I heard one of them say to no one in particular, " hmm, in Saskatchewan we use augers to dig our post holes!"

I stopped being politically correct when I found out that some people were offended by it.

gus is a nick that I got given a long time ago. When I became internet savvy (before IRC was in colour, and the Web was a twinkle in the eye... in fact, I was on the 'net when it was the darpanet....).... I digress. I have ALWAYS had a somewhat removed internet personality. I was always "gus" on IRC when I was at varsity because there was some german guy who had the same first name as me, and got there first. Anyways, when Spam became a problem, I perpetuated it, and created a "public" personality, and a private one. I tell the world my gus address, but only those people I have met in a more structured way my personal identity.

Bottom line - I have had 2 spam messages to my personal mail account since Spam existed. My public "gus" account is seldom even read.

No-one knows me as "gus" outside of the 'net. Still, I do not build an "alter-ego", just a level of abstraction between me and the big wide world.

if only...

Cuz I was born in Brit-land & by most accounts I'm a brat. My grandaughter Brittaney is also called Britbrat. We don't look alike, so you probably won't get confused -- she's the pretty one.
