Just out of curiosity, how many other clubs have built race tracks at their flying fields?

We have one in Regina, I'm looking to see how many more there are across Canada.

Re: MAAC Clubs With RC Car Race Tracks

we've talked about it off an on over the years. Seems like quite a few RC fliers also enjoy RC cars. I personally think its a great idea if the club has the space to allow it, and there are members willing to set one up somewhere safe.

No-one that I have discussed this idea when it has come up in the past seems to think its a bad idea. The only condition we ever discussed is ensuring the guys use only electric cars. As long as they are in use well beyond the minimum distance set by the MAAC flightline rules, it is not seen as a problem.

Its a different story when it comes to the idea of using Nitro cars. They tend to be noisy and the concern is that it would annoy members who are enjoying the company of other RC fliers while standing /sitting around the pits.
