How many events is too many?

This came up at our last club meeting.

The club plans events to meet and greet the public and show our hobby. At what point do your members decide that there are just too many events to help in? When it's flying season, do you still do events?

Not complaining just curioys how it is out there.

These are things like mall shows; not referring to fun fly events.

I'd say more than 2 a year is pushing it. More than than and it grows thin for the public, the club and the mall management.....

What was that old saying.........too much of a good thing can spoil the broth...or something like that

The sooner you fall behind, the more time you will have to catch up.

The Sun Parlor guys in Windsor host one mall show and one airshow per year for the public. That seems enough.

Mall Shows

I think Mall Shows are most effective NOW in the Spring before the real flying season starts. Good way to get some new members too!

We have a display setup at the local home and recreation show, first weekend in April. Just one event a year. It's nice having it just as flying season starts, we invite them right out to the field. We usually get a couple new members. And of course we have our ff's.
