ST 3250 Won't run?

I have a Super Tigre G3250. I have installed a Perry carb, and just most recently, a pump. I can get it to start, it idles nicely, but a transition to mid range, it quits.
I had this motor last year(before pump) and it ran great, or at least I thought it was O.K. I was running it too lean, it overheated and seized the crank. I sent it back for a new crank(only took 6 months), then installed the pump, hoping to give it a constant fuel supply and fix the leaning problem. It is hard to start sometimes, then when it runs, it seems O.K. But if it quits, sometimes it starts on the first flip, other times, I could flip it a hundred times and it won't even fire.
I'm to the point where I might just put it in a box and forget it, and buy a Moki 2.1. Do these Moki's have any trouble like these big ST's?

Please help! or buy my Super Tigre,........... cheap!!!

This info is from alot of reading and a general concensus is that
Two things make sure these engines run good.

Use as much less nitro as you can, these engines don't like high Nitro, the Super tigre fuel is good for them.

Secondly, the carburettor has problems, your engine will run excellent if you could get a 7D OS carb for it.

ST engines

I had a ST 2000, and i found that it liked 5% nitro and 20% oil, it ran better and had more power with normal feul rather than teh super tiger feul but that is just what i found, many others had different experiences, and yes do get a different carb.
There is no such thing as too low
