Epoxy over polyester resin?

I have a fuse (I am assuming polyester resin) that I need to put a firewall in can I use Epoxy? I was also thinking of using Probond as well for the formers, which I think are fine i am not sure about the epoxy over the Polyester.

I tried a search and nothing came up.

I have found Z-Poxy to work well on both Polyester and Epoxy fiberglass.

I used "gorilla glue" (same thing as probond) to glue the transformer into a 6" PVC electrical junction box for my foam cutting power supply. It's still there............

Make sure you sand the shine off first, though......

Mine is not to reason why; I just wire them up to fry...I mean Fly!

I used epoxy on all my planes that where made from polyester for installing the firewalls. My method was rough up the shell and insert the firewall and use a stick and and push epoxy mixed with microbaloons around the outside. You should see a little bead at the front and all work is from the inside so it does not look like a mess. You can also chop up some glass cloth and do the same thing. Use slow setting epoxy(30min) so you have time and it will be strong.

If you go on BVM's website http://www.bvmjets.com/ ,you'll see an article on Aeropoxy, I've used it on epoxy and polyester fuses, works great, you can probably get the same or a similar product from one of our Canadian suppliers.
